Improving Your Smile Through Restorative Dentistry

Crafting Smiles That Last

You’ve been told that you need a tooth restoration — but you have to first get a dental implant.

A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically placed into your jawbone, providing a stable anchor for future teeth restorations such as dental crowns or implant-retained dentures.

At Rinaldi Dental Arts, we prioritize patient-centered care, and we work closely with you throughout the entire process, from start to finish. Our team involves you in every step of the process, ensuring that you are comfortable and informed about your treatment options.

Types of Dental Implants and Benefits

With the many types of dental implants, it can be hard to differentiate between all of your options. The most common types include:

  • Single tooth implants
  • Multiple tooth implants
  • Implant-retained dentures
  • All-on-4
  • All-on-6

Be sure to ask our doctors about which option makes the most sense for you. Keep in mind that if you need multiple teeth restorations you may require more implants compared to a patient who only needs one tooth restoration.

The main benefits of getting a Bethesda dental implant are that:

  • It  often lasts for 20+ years (with proper care).
  • It is the next best thing to having your natural teeth.
  • It helps prevent bone loss where there is a missing tooth.

Dental Implant Process

We always like to be transparent about the dental implant process because we know that this is probably a new experience for you!

When getting a dental implant with Rinaldi Dental Arts, you can expect:

  • Consultation and planning – During your initial consultation, our doctors will do a comprehensive examination of your mouth, discuss your restoration options, and create an action plan.
  • Implant placement (by an in-house oral surgeon) – Next, our in-house oral surgeon will carefully and safely place the implants in your mouth for future restorations.
  • Adding tooth restoration – After you have fully healed, we will go in to add your tooth restoration to the titanium post(s).
